Located at 401 W 4th St #120, Austin, TX 78701, Sugarwolf Bakery operates as a bakery serving Austin in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Austin, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Texas, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ4 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sugarwolf Bakery at (512) 827-2520; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is sugarwolfbakery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 370 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Austin follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Brown butter chocolate chip cookie: best Iβve ever had. Crunchy edges, gooey middle, flaky salt on top. Paired with their cold brew, itβs heavenly. The cold brew is excellent. They use Voyager beans, and we liked it enough to grab a bag to take home. Brewed it ourselves and it tasted just like in-shop, which rarely happens. Plenty of other great pastries and croissants too. Staff is helpful, and the coffee bar sits in the middle of the shop, so you watch everything made in the open. Gorgeous, chic space with art on the walls, though seating fills up fast on busy days. Lovely cafe right in the heart of downtown. Worth going out of your way for.

Just tried a chocolate covered croissant and their matcha. Chocolate croissant was definitely on bitter side. I expected it to be sweeter. Still tasty. Will love to come back and visit to try their lunch options. Will update once I do.

We rode our bikes downtown to try Sugarwolf Bakery today. We were met with a long line. Sunday morning seems to be a super busy time. The line went fairly quickly. There is a pastry only line. There is also a seated meal line . We did the pastry line. Everything we order we as amazing. Smoked salmon sandwich was really nice. IT could have used a little bit more salmon for sure. The pain au chocolate was beyond flaky . The onion jam pastry was really good too ! The vibe is bright and bustling . We want to come back for lunch for sure. There are a ton of dogs inside so if that's not your thing beware . There isn't any outside seating . I also ordered the Dirty latte: Espresso,Mexican coke, heavy cream and orange oleo. This is a ice coffee drink and I'm still dreaming about it πOur bill was $60 not a cheap place but definitely a place to treat yourself.

This what we needed! I have been watching the construction from my living room since it started! What a beautiful space with the food and coffee to match! Everyone is so friendly and happy to be here. The line moves fast and the pastries really are as good as they look. The classic croissant is one of the best I have ever had. The coffee bar has some wonderful unique flavors (lavender cardamom anyone?) and makes a dang good cortado! I love the bar seating. I feel like that is missing in so many coffee shops. It creates a real community vibe. I will be back for lunch and provide an update! Thank you for bringing a gem to the neighborhood.

My FiancΓ© and I had the opportunity to attend the soft opening, and we loved it! The atmosphere at SugarWolf is unique and recognizable. Overall, food was spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend the Smash Sausage Sandwich and the Ham & Cheese Focaccia. Every pastry was unique and fun to try also! The coffee was fine, nothing to go crazy over. The Smoked Raspberry Latte was great and on the sweeter side. The matcha was also spot on! I wouldnβt come here for the coffee but instead the food and atmosphere. The branding is very cool and is something I would actually consider wearing on a shirt or hat. they had these orange boxes for the to-go containers that you just couldnβt miss! Very excited to have this spot downtown. Itβll be busy all the time but WELL worth the wait
